Black Forest Cake in Glass Jars


Weak in baking but still want to impress your guests. Now you have the perfect recipe which will put you directly in the league of good bakers. Forget the traditional cakes. Get trendy and get innovative. Pick any glass jar at home and start. I promise you will have fun with this one. And you don’t need to be a baker too.

What You Need: 

  • Glass Jars/Glasses of different shapes and sizes
  • Chocolate Cake
  • Whipped Cream
  • Dark Chocolate Shavings
  • Maraschino cherries deseeded and chopped roughly


Steps To Make:

  • Crumble chocolate cake or break into small chunks
  • Make a thin layer of the cake in the bottom of the jar
  • Take a table spoon of whipped cream and make it the second layer
  • Sprinkle some chocolate shavings
  • Spread some chopped Maraschino cherries
  • Repeat the layering process
  • Garnish with whole cherries


What You Need for the easiest chocolate cake: 


  • 3/4th cup olive oil
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3rd cup coco powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 full cup powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp baking powder


Steps To Make :

  • Take a big bowl. Add oil, milk, vanilla essence, break eggs and whisk with an egg beater till the egg yolks  blend.
  • Now add all the dry ingredients. Use the egg whisker to mix everything together . Move your whisker in one direction.
  • Now put the oven on at 180 degree centigrade and pre-heat it for 10 minutes.
  • Use an electric whisker to whisk the cake batter for 10 minutes.
  • Take a baking tray. Put an A4 size paper to cover the base.
  • Pour the batter into it and let it rest for a minute to remove any bubbles.
  • Bake the cake at 180 degree centigrade for 38 to 40 minutes.
  • Let the cake cool down completely. Use a knife to loosen the edges.
  • Turn it upside down with help of a flat.
  • Gently lift the cake tin
