Kerala Meen Fry


Simple pleasures of life. Fish, Rice and Dal. Our Lazy lunches are ready.


What You Need

  • 3 to 4 Meen Fish
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 lime juice
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • salt to taste
  • Juice of 2 lime
  • Coconut oil for shallow frying



Steps To Make:

  • Marinate the fish in above ingredients for half an hour.
  • Add some water if needed while marinating.
  • Heat Coconut oil in a  non stick pan. 
  • Place the pomphret pieces on tawa and cook on low for 10 minutes on each sides or till done.
  • Serve with Rice and Daal
